About Tucker’s Turf

Tucker’s Turf was born from two simple ideas: a love of golf and a love for the McAlester community.

Larry Tucker has lived in Pittsburg County his entire life and has been an avid golfer for as long as he can remember. Amanda was born and raised in California before moving to Oklahoma in 2003. As public school educators, we wanted to create something that would be a positive addition to McAlester while fitting around our full-time careers.

The idea for Tucker’s Turf started as either a very expensive birthday, Christmas, and Father’s Day gift for Larry—or an opportunity to bring a big-city golf experience to golfers right here at home. Thankfully, it became the latter.

Today, Tucker’s Turf is an exclusive, membership-based simulator club tailored for discerning golfers. With 24/7/365 private access, our elite environment caters to both seasoned players and those looking to elevate their game. Members enjoy a luxurious golf experience without the long drive to Tulsa, Oklahoma City, or beyond.

What began as a dream has become a community of golfers who share a passion for the game. We are grateful for every member who has joined our little club and helped make Tucker’s Turf what it is today.
